The wife has a business meeting near the O2 today so we are stopping off on the way to a wedding this weekend. I’ll have a few hours to kill. Option of free parking near the O2 or taking the car elsewhere. I’ve done the Olympic park, unless there is some secret part I might have missed. Thinking of wandering down to the Greenwich museums. What else might be worth a look in that area or somewhere else entirely? On my list would be interesting flea market, junk shop or some nice architecture/engineering/history. Also somewhere for lunch that the wife wouldn’t approve of, eg man v food style meat.

Stay in Greenwich, plenty of museums and the park to wander around.

Yes Greenwich is good; plenty there to see. I found the Bethnal Green Museum of Childhood fascinating when I went there but I think it’s called something else now.
