After five years and three ops I put the old Kona back together today. Not at all looking forward to tomorrow.

    Best of luck.

If the physio-terrorist has given you his/her blessing, that’s got to be a good thing.

Hope it goes well- I remember the feeling immediately before getting back on the motorbike after my big break, not knowing if I could still do it, if I’d still enjoy it, if I’d even be physically capable of riding it… A scary day but a great one. Hope it works out as well for you as it did for me!

enjoy the first ride after I bust my knee up last year was the best ever, even if it was only 1 mile, just being able to ride again was superb 😀

How long after the first ride til the upgrading process starts? I reckon at least until after you’ve showered 🙂

Well done. I’m waiting for a hip replacement next month and have a new bike sitting in the garage nagging me to be ridden. Keep it up… And yes you do need a new bike 🙂

Good man. It’s not a nice feeling knowing that an activity you love has the ability to inflict so much pain, yet I found the stress of that possibility melting away after a few minutes of pedaling. Remember to stretch afterwards !!!!!!
