    And its stuck locked!

Its the actual lock mechanism on the door, not the cheap handle. When i removed the handle it seems something has dropped and now there is nothing there that will bind onto the square rod.

Its a UPVC tilt and slide patio door.

So what are the options on removing or fixing it, any ideas?

wd40? mine have seized in the past and liberal wd40 is the only thing, then once open stick bike lube in. its a bit heavier weight and wont evaporate as easily.

Last time I used a locksmith it was about £100. I guess thats your best course of action.

Ti pin man the lock seems to have actually fallen apart leaving the 5 or 6 sliding pins locking in place. I wish it was just a simple spray of wd40.

I thought the handle had gone and even have an emergency supply of them in the loft as they are so crap but its not that.

Looks like it may be a call to a locksmith then!
