    Hazlenuts/dried fruit etc. They don’t call it trail mix for nuffink.
    Can’t indulge in overly sweet stuff as I usually have a massive sugar crash and throw all of my toys out of the pram.
    I now eat a shed load of pasta with chilli pesto the night before, a mungus bowl of porridge the morning after and dried fruit stuff and bananas and peanut butter sandwhiches during.
    Pork pies and beer?……. that could work.

    Another vote for Jelly Babies. Tesco have them for half price at the moment. They are guilt free too as they contain no fat, you can also bite their heads of in rage when you puncture one more time than you have spare tubes.
