Ive been tasked to organise a reunion of ex army mates ( approx 10 of us) this summer.

I feel that a festival/ event with camping would prob be the safest bet ;@)

Its too late for the big events Glasto etc and to be honest with you I would prefer a one night gig with camping…Im getting old ya know!

So could anyone recommend a small gig or gathering in England that would be suitable for accomodating us…that serves alcohol, live music, has camping…

Another vote for going slightly off shore, we have been to the Electric Picnic the last 3 years, and without doubt one of the more relaxed and accessible festivals. Biggest appeal being the range of quality food on offer 🙂

Great setup for campervans as well, we rent locally then roadtrip over which adds to the event and you can always throw some bodies in nearby tents if you want to keep cost down.

Mychoone is looking fav so far…

The Big Chill is a tad ‘big’ and expensive…great line up though

Big bike bash…well none of em bike so it would be wasted on em

    Any others?

This one may be a little too random for you! It’s VERY laid back and very surreal!

is Kendal Calling on this year? Or maybe Moorfest near Skipton. Or perhaps Bingley Music Live in September. 3 nights of music in Myrtle Park for a very reasonable price – I think it’s under £50 a ticket, but no onsite camping
