Is anyone running the SLX double chainset without dedicated front mech and shifters – I assume it’s possible, but is shifting compromised without the correct mech?

Yeah, I run a double and bash on my Handjob..

I use XT Shifters and XTR Mechs..

Works fine here.. 😀

It’ll be fine Vince just set the limit screw on the front mech so you can’t overshift

One or both may have just bumped up their prices regardless (And be selling pre-price-rise stock). They’re still a lot less than the RRP
