Short story, service road behind our house which is shared with two other houses needs to be cleared my neighbour legally owns the service road ( we have a right of way).

Costs will be split between 3 of us for skip as we are all guilty of dumping our garden crap down it.

Reckon we’d need 1 x 12 yard plus maybe a small skip, lots of earth etc, cost round here is £360 for a 12′ yard skip, anyone know what a grab lorry costs ??? It maybe easier to move everything down to the bottom of service road and have it collected just in case skip isn’t big enough.

Any help gladly taken as it’s my job to source

    TIA

Is the soil any good? I put my excess on freecycle and people came and took it.

Hippo bags cost a fortune. We were paying about £160 for a grab wagon load.

Where are you? I’m paying £195 for a builders skip in Chester.
Grab can be a bit cheaper but you have to have everything ready for when they arrive whereas with a skip you can take your time (until your neighbours spot it and dump their crap in it!).
