Amazing photo – how well I know that feeling of just gripping the bars and hoping for the impossible…….

yep some of my friends who i used to ride dirt jumping with were really good at bailing to protect themselves, i always seemed to hold on til the bitter end 😆

There's a certain amout of flex in all wheels, I bet that would pretty much spring back once he takes the weight off it! 😕

I've no idea how he did that on a unicycle. It's magnificent.

Almost as impressive as this from last Sunday

    oooh showboating :FAIL:

can't quite see if he landed that fully 50/50

Fantastic photo, I'd be bl00dy chuffed to have taken that. When the fork extends he'll just bounce into a forward roll and land it on the rear wheel. Easy peasy!

Good job on rolling him off the course there, last thing we want lying on a middle of trail is paraplegic.

I'd be having stern words with my wheel builder.

It looks like the rim has unpinned itself or snapped though

In the original vid I had to laugh at the fat guy in the red t shirt struggling to walk up the hill the guy who wiped out was about to ride down.

And bizzarrly in the BMX video right at the end there was a one armed marshal, bit unexpected.

that's what i thought Drac. He was in a perfect recovery position. Send someone up course to stop more riders and leave him where he is. If 2 people and know how to take a helmet off, then remove.

Better an intact spinal cord on the track than a paraplegic off it.

in true DH style you'll notice he's still looking ahead and covering the brakes..

    drac +1

and Wacko +1, it's that 'I'll ride this out yet' attitude that gets you into the worlds in the first place 8)

No Alpin, it wasn't one of mine. I would love that guy to ride for my team though!
