    Hi,

I've been to the ENT specialist today to get the result of my CT scan and surgery to enlarge the sinus chambers behind my nose, under my eyes, has been proposed. Has anyone had this done and did it improve things?

Yeah I had something like that done a few years ago. Can't remember the name of the procedure though. The consultant told me before the op that it was 50:50 as to whether it would solve the problems I'd been having. And it didn't 🙁

    What fastindian said.

Folks had operations etc, loss of smell, repeat operations etc.

Just make sure you get plenty of of rest after the operation.

    Lots of tissues handy.

Hope you get better soon. 😀

I had something similar many years ago and it made no difference, however, my breathing improved by itself a few years later when I moved house… so it was obviously some sort of allergy anyway. The recovery from the surgery was not a lot of fun.

For the people to whom it made no difference, was this because you were producing a lot of gunk in response to an allergic reaction?
