Not an owner but i'm qualifying myself on account of my surname being Swift. Also, I would like to see more pics of these myself as I quite like them...

Hope whoever's image this is that i've lifted doesn't mind! Lovely pic.

Currently borrowing this frame/fork from Sam. I can see why people rave about them. Really nice ride.

john.............not set a date in stone yet mate.
when we do, i will be in touch. cheers.just noticed that all the swifts are being run with flat bars.
is there a specific reason for this.Posted 10 months ago # -
Ton, just get your order in at Sideways, Tim also sell IF's BTW
Posted 10 months ago # -
Ton - Was this after our conversation yesterday?
Do me a favour and also buy a heart rate monitor

Flat bars = lower front end on quite a tall bike. I could have the stem up against the headset and use a low riser bar but am not brave enough to trim the steerer that much. Flat bar looks nicer too for some reason.

I need to get pictures of my Swift up, as soon as my rear fekin' wheel comes back from the LBS.

just noticed that all the swifts are being run with flat bars.
is there a specific reason for this.I'm running Ragley Carnegie's now and it feels so much better than the flat bars I had on it for the photo
Posted 10 months ago # -
EDIT: looks like it doesnt work with picasa?
Posted 10 months ago # -
monkeyboyjc, I honestly think that's the nicest looking bike I've ever seen on here.
And the scruffiest garden, so a 100% strike rate there, congratulations.

Love mine. flat bars, negative rise stem and short headset to compensate for the headtube that's pretty long.

sadexpunk- how did/do you find the j bars?
Considering them or loop bars after listening/watching tazzy getting on with his- would they be more comfortable for a bit of road work than flat bars?Posted 10 months ago # -
I dont think I've ever read a negative comment on a Swift.
How do the Singular forks (steel?) compare to carbon rigids ? Anyone ?
Posted 10 months ago # -
Great thread this. Here's my Swift - sadly now gone
