Anybody run one of these with 80mm/100mm 26" suspension forks? If so hows it ride?

What type of steel is the frame made from Reynolds?

    Thanks RC.

The frame is generic chrome-moly, but I can't comment on using suspension forks, as I've only ever run mine with the the rigid forks (Reynolds 520) and a 29" wheel.

    Handles great like that though.

I've had a number of customers riding the Hummingbird with 80-100mm forks and a suspension fork and they're very happy with the results. There is also a review coming up shortly in 'another' UK bike mag which will look at the various configurations possible.

'Generic' cro-mo is perhaps selling the tubeset a little short – though it's not 'branded' tubing, it is made in the same factory as same. Triple butted 4130 cro-mo steel drawn to my specs, the frames ride very nicely indeed. The tubing quality is on a par with similar tubesets from the 'big names'.
