Just wondering what people run? Want to get something ordered today.

Or, do people running horizontal dropouts run chain tugs at all? Is that do-able?

    Cheers

    Track end or horizontal dropout?

I use an ebay dmr copy heavily modified. c456 is a bit of an unusual shape at the drop out, OO don’t seem to do a 100% compatible one, had to do a lot of filing to get mine to fit and actually give a decent amount of useable “travel”

If you use a shimano QR done up well ***tard tight it might hold OK.

as per D0nk on the carbon 456 – you have to grind a lot off a dmr chain tug to get it to fit and allow a range of adjustment once in place.

The surly one I use has two holes you can use so you get a much longer range of movement (i.e. almost the entire slot) for a given amount of bolt length.

if you’re running horizontal drops you can use the double bolt style of chain tensioner – just need to break out the grinder.
