    Anyone done it? Ok to climb on with a tensioner?

    Thinking of ridding the gears for the winter and getting fitter.

    Magic Ratio here, tried tensioners as well – Surly the best but not great. You could try one of those bottom bracket ones and a half link chain?

    Barry probably means the excentric external bottom brackets either by Trickstuff from Germany, see

    Both have been discussed on the forum before, both have their good and bad points.
