Anyone else get a sore hip from riding their singlespeed? My left hip is beeping agony after yesterdays ride. It was the same at the tale end of the Summer before I dug out the ‘cross bikes.

Any hints or will I need to sell…….

Is it a problem with your iliotibial (IT) band? That’s muscle that connects your hip joint with your knee and helps stabilise it. It’s quite common in cyclists and runners and may be what’s causing the pain.

thump. that sounds like the nail being hit on the head. Squats make it worse. Thanks
