the first morning after mid winter when the sun gets up before you do (usually followed by a sudden panic that maybe that means you’ve slept through your alarm)
the cold side of the pillow
getting a duvet into it a freshly laundered cover and getting yourself into bed, under the duvet, in one move

Making the missus laugh.
Fresh crusty bread + cheese + wine.
The first pint / dram at the end of a hard hiking / riding trip.
Running on the beach with wor kid’s dog. I hate running, but can’t stop smiling when the daft mutt is alongside.
Hmmm, do like bread, and butter, yet on the scale of simple pleasures then getting jiggy with someone who wordlessly, intuitively and rapidly fits yr jig has to rank highly 🙂
Also the smell during and after rain on a long spring evening cycle run. And the smell of chilli on the stove. Oh. Could go on all day.
