Not particularly SEVERE yet, though. Think a dusting of icing sugar.
Great OP, all you've got is a load more snow updates - fail.
light snow in london, bike show later
couple of centimetres in Hove.
Son made a concession to the weather by putting a t-shirt under his school polo shirt. Coats aren't cool...
Southern Hampshire in gridlock due to 3 whole inches of the stuff
Both kids' schools are shut and I can't get to work ( ๐ณ ) as main road blocked by stuck lorries
Pathetic

Daily Express:
"ARMY ON STANDBY AS UP TO 12INS OF SNOW WILL BLANKET BRITAIN
Army on standby as up to 12ins of snow will blanket Britain
THE Army was on standby last night as the heaviest snowfall for years threatened to plunge the country into a full-scale national emergency."
We're Dooomed!!! ๐
Not much in South Holland at the moment.
It's snowing? Why the hell didn't someone tell me?
It's sort of white and fluffy round here.
Seems to be falling from the sky and landing on the ground.
Not sure, but it may have something to do with the vastly reduced temperatures we've had.
It was cold this time last year too.
There may be a pattern emerging.
Could anyone else help the OP by confirming if this is a nationwide phenomenon?
Will report back later.
Nothing in Tasmania

Me: "You had your t-shirt underneath. And everyone said it would snow."
"I didn't think it actually would, though."
16 year olds, eh?
Why do kids think they dont need jackets when its like this?

Plenty falling in the Surrey hills currently, everybody driving sensibly so far and no RTCs as yet for me.
I like this weather but hate the disaster type coverage on the news.
Light snow in west London. Settling, probably about 15-20mm deep at present.

It provides them with safe, easy, local "news" to report on, looking serious stood next to an A-road in a Berghaus jacket.
Snow! In Europe! In January!
Whatever next?! Rain in summer? Maybe a day or so of sunshine in July?
Snow showers now in Aberdeen
6" near Cwmcarn, further 12" due today and coming down hard at the moment, (in the middle of the Red warning zone ๐ ) working from home today as don't fancy getting stuck at the workshop, off to find some snow chains for the van in bit. ๐
