the "rear mech" is a very old skool sunn dh chain tensioner it's bb mounted ,,

Thank god no one bought this off me. Missus sort of pointed out the number of bikes in the shed and suggested the sale if a Plexi was to come in to the house.

These threads always make me want to SS my bike again! 1x9 is good but I still get skipping issues and dropped chains over bumpier stuff (plus gears look messy). It gets worse when the mud piles on. Convince me why I should/shouldn't go ss

jimjimthehumanbin2- yes!!! found out that the strange shim that brought it down to 1" 8th was cutting into my forks and I had to get the GT forks u see in the pic! Shim is now sitting right!!!
