Really hankering after one as it would be a sensible "do it all" bike. General quick white peak blasts, dark peak big days, pulling the kiddie trailer, even commuting to work!!

I reckon with my build kit it would come in around 27lbs ish.

    Prefer the green un!

Show me yours for inspiration and also what kit it has

    cheers

Mine is no longer in the box, couldn't wait  So I have a blue rolling chassis with white Revelations and stem, a set of Truvativ Team Noir bars, XT brakes, SLX cranks, MG1 pedals, and Roval Traversee rims. But no mechs, chain, or seatpost  Still couldn't resist and had to go for a roll round the block on it, feels good so far.

Must admit I'm still getting to grips with it. Ride it 2 days in a row, love it, ride XC HT one day and then mmmbop next day don't get on as they are so different. Takes me 2-3 hours to get dialed back in. Biggest surprise for me is how well it climbs it is almost as quick as the XC bike, and feels like less effort.

    18"
    Pike 454 uturn
    ProII 5.1/EX721
    NN 2.25 / RR 2.25
    Hope X2 203/180 Ashima rotors
    Thomson 50mm stem
    Burgtec RW bars
    Ibeam post & saddle
XTR short cage rear mech & SLX shifter
    11-34 Sram thingy
MRP 1x (not set up right, chain comes off if backpedal)
Truvativ Stylo cranks, Hope BB with 34t E13 ring

Dunno about weight but it is really light, I would say 27ish, not much more than my pimp'd duster. Could do with ligher wheels but they are shared with the full/suss

(apologies for posting a pic of a 'dirty' bike)

    Fizik Aliante saddle
    Syncros post
Hope Hoops – Pro2 on Stans Flow
    Maxxis HR 2.35 60a tyres
    DMR V8 flat pedals
    Is that it now?

Weighs in at just under 28lbs – not bad for a tough nut…

It is significantly more difficult on really tight stuff, but that's more due to having silly wide bars than the bike itself.

Buy some carbon reinforced gloves….of course I could cut the bars down, and I might in the future but at the moment it just adds to the fun factor.

They handle just fine on twisty stuff, just lean more steer less.

Oh and they do become really rather fun the faster you go.

    Finished building mine last night.

    xtr rear
    deore front
xt shifters with fibrax full length outers
    slx triple chainset

Rear wheel dt swiss 4.1d on xt hub
    Juicy 5's
    Thomson 31.6 post
Truvativ Team stem – To long will be replaced

    you're not going fast enough.

Depends on your definition of tight twisty stuff, mine is when my silly wide bars don't physically fit between trees, which can kinda kill your speed pretty rapidly 🙂 (as I found out recently)

I really like the decals, wish I'd thought of that!
