Just got a 456 for my next build. Show me some pictures of yours for inspiration, preferrably in use or out in the middle of nowhere.

Wow- thats a, erm....unusual build you have there Gav...
I guess you have it that way for a good reason, but the long stem (with a rise), hi-rise bars and a layback post..mmm.
Interesting also that you really need a low clamp front mech - high clamp makes for a big angle change for the front cable.
Same issue with Mrs B's

Heres mine.....

and awaiting the final decent.....

stoney - how are the high rollers ?
tubeless on 819's per-chance ?grip ? puncture resistance ?
Posted 2 years ago # -
Minion front and HR rear, geto tubeless. I`ve only had one in the rear that didnt seal as the sealant had gone to a coralised lump.....Grip is good and the minion got a good writeup in MBUK.

geto ?
Posted 2 years ago # -
I may have spelt that wrong!

Hey everyone, kind of new to the forum (lurked for a while, thought I'd best sign up!). This is mine (31.6lbs for those of you who care about such things!):

just built recently, swapped my 456 in baby blue (for sale) for this.
Summer frame, powdercoated in metalic black and rebranded as Slacker.

Triple S in Bingley, Bradford. Nice fella, £80 plus decals by my mate. Already scraped the stays...bugger!

Does a Summer Season count as well? Will have to try and remember take my camera with me and get some pics on the trails instead of this one lol

Not exactly middle of nowhere, but definitely middle of somewhere...
Posted 2 years ago # -
lol ahwiles, seems i have the legs of someone 6ft 3 and Ronnie Corbett's body
Awesome bike's to ride the 456.
Posted 2 years ago # -
Guess where/when

Liked mine but I do prefer the standard inbred (just a touch faster handling)
Posted 2 years ago # -
Does this sound ludicrous? A 6footer on a 16" 456? Rode a 18" Inbred and found it too stretched out.
Posted 2 years ago # -

With little 100m forks on. Turns out a slack bike is useful on sonw and ice
Posted 2 years ago # -
Yet another summseason. I've now changed the forks to Fox32

Posted 2 years ago # -
heres mine ,sold it now though but i do miss it!!
Posted 2 years ago # -
Hora, I would think that a 16 would be a bit small. I am 5'10" and have a 16 summer season and a 18 single speedslot. The 18 has a 70mm stem on which makes the reach ok. I went for the smaller summer season to use as a bike for riding peak district and places like lee quarry so wanted it a bit smaller. the 18 is fine though, used for local riding - lincs fields and woody singletrack stuff.

I know but I found the (newer) Inbred 18" too long/too stretched out (23.7TT)- the 456 is 23.5 so not much in it?
Ps. Theres only 2-3 inches in it between you and me? My instep is 32/33inch.
