ohh! that trek is purdy, they've managed to get themselves a horrible rep for snapping though.

It's the rear triangle that has been snapping and Trek have done a voluntary recall on them. Surprise surprise, the replacement parts are about a lbs heavier - some things shouldn't be that light.

Designed as a Comp Slopestyle bike - took them about 4 years to get it to production as MC was bought from Kinesis and restarted. Let's just say I'm not target market lol. I liked the standover and burliness of it + really short back end which makes manuals and getting the front up off slow speed drops dead easy. Took it out to the Alps with Trail Addiction for singletrack and it was an absolute riot! Surprised it works so well with the longer Floats tbh, will get more pics up asap. (Has my old 66SL's on in this pic).
