cheap steel merlin frame
old 8sp stx kit
half-decent wheels and fast tyres
and a rack to make it look like a proper commuter

My workmates probably think this is a state of the art hi-tech machine

Mudguards are essential. Wish the frame had rack mounts. Its got a very loud airzound horn on it now. Very useful.
