That's one for next time.
If you take a right turn at the junction 2 mins before the above pic "starting the descent".. this is the view from the top of the descent around the corner that takes you down to Achnashellach.

Glen Affric loop.I ride alone so its a pain to start setting up the camera and rocketdogging it for every scenic pic.Hope the hills alone are fine enough!

Ben Ledi, not a big mountain technically but a lot of up and down in a short time and very accessible.

Technically not quite a mountain.

Same place last winter.

Hi Daniel
Yeah its a bit dangerous! Lots of pushing but worth having the bike with you to get home once you arrive at Camasunary.

Seeing all these has made me I'm feel quite homesick.
I know it's not the UK but here are some of our Jordanian big mountains:
Brilliant! Great to see there's so much amazing stuff in the UK
Right, time to re-dress the balance a bit with all these photo's of Scotchland.
Here's one of the Grande Massiff de Cheshire
In direct line of sight from the camera to my bar end, Winter Hill is 28 miles away, line of sight between camera and the pile of rock to the right of my bike, the Wind Turbine Farm at Ramsbottom is 30 miles.

Stoney, is that heading towards Annat in the last pic?
If you were meaning me then, yup it sure is.
Is it now too late to ride some of this buff Scotland stuff, and if not, can one of you take me out on it in the next few weeks? Have car and excellent tent. Great thread Sanny...
Depends. The snow's here now in some places. I know last year it was the week after bonfire night that we had our final adventure of the year, so it must be about the end of the big mountain season for bikes til the end of February now.
D'oh - time to break out the crampons

well if we're all cheating and doing non-UK, Sanny was on this one!:

This thread is ace so a few more from me

and a foriegn one for good measure
Is that the Walna Scar road up from Seathwaite dingus - or somewhere altogether different? Loving the mist tendrils.
No, it's the horrible fireroad climb that takes you up to the top of Càrn Bàn Mòr in the Cairngorms. The weather was pretty dramatic that day.
