Always preferred coil forks. Now I’m looking for a full suss and wanting something with a coil rear shock but also something that can be ridden all day on long rides as well as short blasts. Oh, and 650b or 29er content welcomed.

There is a weight penalty to running the coil shocks but I prefer them most of the time… although perhaps my new air shocks will change my opinion 😈

not got a hady pic at the mo but I ride a Turner 5spot with a fox Vanilla r (i think) on th back, and untill a few months ago Vanilla RLC up front

I always prefered coils but for lots of dull reasons I’ve ended up with Fox Floats up front. They are brilliant and a really good pairing with the rear shock.
Air shocks have come on a long way, infact I’d go as far as to say I prefere the floats..
