  • Should i use brand new Deore Rotors or 2nd hand XTR'S?

    So i bought a set of second hand centrelock 160mm XTR Rotors that are in really good condition and i also received some brand new Deores that i ordered but i thought had been lost in the post.

    Is there a real difference? Would you stick the Deores on and sell the XTR's? or do i go with the quality of the XTR's and sell the brand new still packaged Deore's?

    Maybe it doesn't matter either way but i just thought i'd ask.

    keep XTR, sell the Deores in their packaging. you might get back what you've paid for the XTR.

    XTR's will be lighter…

    As long as they're straight and got plenty of life left in em, no reason not to use em over the Deore's personally.
