   Right then, as I've managed to land a new job (at least to the end of the summer)during my redundancy notice, I can afford to buy some new kit!

   Shorts: any recommendations? Integral liner or not? I'm only 5'5", 30" waist so would prefer some short shorts, not ones which look like 3/4s! Currently wearing Gill Airflow which have lasted two full summers, but fancy a change.

   I like my Fosca shorts with clip-in inners. Or even with ASOS gel comfy lycra. The sawn-in ones are ok normally, like Race Face from CRC on the cheap.

   Assos is deadly path to go down. Nowt else is quite the same.
