Just gone to book a courier for a frame I have sold and the T&C’s with both Parcel to Go and Interparcel say bike frames and carbon fibre are restricted items, and although they’ll take your money for extra cover for them, they wont actually cover them for damage.

Who does everyone use for shipping carbon fibre bike frames that actually fully covers them?

    Thanks

Since Parcel2Go has multiple carriers you can select, I guess that suggests that the insurance is being provided by P2G rather than the carrier?

I’ve had this recently with camera equipment – they only insure against loss not damage – but since it’s very easy to pack camera equipment up such that the chances of it being damaged are negligible I’ve never really bothered. It’s useful to know that the same applies for frames now as well.

If you get a proper frame box and brace the rear and front drop outs and then pack it well it might be reasonable to assume that the risk of a frame being damaged is also negligible.
