Does anybody use this? The cost is astronomical but I’m wandering what peoples experiences are. I started a thread about going 11 speed this morning and my mind has wandered to 11 speed 10-42 di2, assuming the derailleur is compatible with the sram cassette.

It is. It’s heavier than mechanical, and the big advantage is the sequential shifting, or just how awesome the front mech is.

I saw no point at all on a 1×11.

    Why? Please elaborate!

    I did.

    It’s heavier.

The advantages are in the synchro shift and the fantastic front mech action. Neither of which are relevant with a single ring setup

My LBS (Cycle Addicts in Rochdale) has it on his demo bike. It is very, very, very shiny. And as we all know, shiny thing make it all better.
