Replaced the Ti lightweight ones on my SS with Shimano Deore XT – much happier with the clamping now.

Doing the same on another bike now and whilst I have an XT rear I cannot find the XT front….think I leant it to a mate and have never seen it again.

So, does anyone have a new or vgc front Deore XT qr in black they night sell me for a decent price?

    Thanks!

Anywhere online for about £15 new – worth the piece of mind. Excellent skewers with a proper internal cam mechanism!

Also – most shimano ones are of this design, and so just as good!

Shimano and Salsa are my favs.
I’ve no idea why people use Hope.

The chromag seat one is nice – haven’t tried wheel ones (if they make them).
Next bike is through-axle so no more.

Agree, shimano or salsa. Since all my bikes have gone bolt through, I have 3 sets of black salsa s/s ones in my spares bin!

Onzadog…obvious question….fancy selling me a pair from your spares box?
