Does anyone have different bikes with different shifters on them?

I have just ordered a new bike that comes equipped with SRAM shifters, and to be honest in the showroom I didn’t like them that much. I think it is just a matter of what I am used to, but I have always had shimano, and am used to the action. Do people find little problem switching between the two systems or can it be a bit awkward?

I have both and, whilst I preferred the Shimano ones initially (because that’s what I was used to), I don’t have any problem switching between the two. I occasionally forget that the Shimano ones have a push pull but that’s about it.
