Beyond aesthetics, is there any value in going with the Shimano two piece rotors, with aluminium carrier, over the one piece solid stainless rotors (RT76 vs RT66)? I’m not interested in the ice-tech version BTW. I’ve read the marketing claims, what are your real world, long-term thoughts?

I have been using my old Avis G3 clean sweep rotors with XTR trail brakes for a while now, without issue (185mm Fr, with shims & 160mm rear). It’s just time to replace them.
