I’ve got two sets of wheels, both with M785 XT hubs. Riding around Sherwood Pines today, the freehub on the newish XT factory built wheels that i was riding, just seized causing the bike to ride like a fixie with horrible grating noises coming from it. I now cant get it to move. The other set of older hubs, which are built into Stans rims, have never had a problem (tempting fate). I’ve done a bit of research and found, quite surprisingly for Shimano, that there appears to be an issue with the freehub. Anybody else experience this problem, and if so, did you manage to find a freehub upgrade that solved the problem. I’ve read of some people having to replace the freehub 2 or 3 times at £30 a go!!

Yes, these are less than 500 miles old! Really disappointed, expected better from Shimano.
