Does anyone know whether different shimano cranks use the shame spline patterns – could I run an SLX left crank on an XT right, for example? I’m thinking of buying one of the cheap XTR stages powermeters available at the moment, but have XT on one bike and SLX on the other! so, more specifically, can I run an XTR left crank on other cranksets?

    Thanks for any help!

There was a thread about this last week. The OP was having problems. I don’t know if it was resolved though.

Yes they fit….exact same splines. However it needs a 5mm spacer between nds bb bearing and the crank arm
