Have got a Zee brake that needs to be longer.

Have got a new hose with the banjo attached and the fittings for the lever end. Have shortened and bled a few brakes but never replaced a hose. Is it a straightforward unbolt old hose/fit new hose/bleed/ride or is there more to it?

    Ta folks

Having put together brakes from component parts it’s pretty simple.

Attach at caliper end, run hose through to lever, cut to length, attach to lever in normal manner. Take the whole thing off the bike and get the hose vertical using a workstand or similar. Then fill from the caliper up.

You will likely have to do a proper thorough bleed as air can get stuck in the caliper and hose.
