There seem to be an awful lot of stolen bike threads recently, so I just thought I’d share a recommendation. I had 2 gates and some window bars fitted to my lock up recently, for a very reasonable (I think anyway) £280. They were fitted by Dave at Danks Fabrications – http://www.danksfabrications.com/

He’s based in Huddersfield, so this may only be relevant to bods in and around the area, but I thought it worth mentioning. £280 isn’t a lot of cash when the value of most people’s bike collection could be 10 times that at least! He was a nice bloke too, turned up when he said he would and all that good stuff. Daresay he’d fit floor plates etc too.

I’m moving soon, and slightly fearful of going from bikes in a cellar to bikes in a garage with a great big door opening opposite a pub carpark.
