    The DfT policy document thing…

I’ve not read in details yet, some good, a lot of obvious

    http://assets.dft.gov.uk/publications/ltn-01-12/shared-use-routes-for-pedestrians-and-cyclists.pdf

When converting a footway to shared use, it is particularly important to try to ensure
pedestrian and cyclist movement is relatively unobstructed by sign posts, lamp
    columns, etc.

Sustrans seem to think its an improvement on the previous draft document.

If you CBARATS skip to section seven which gets down to implementation recomendations – actually all pretty good, and would make for better cycle paths IMO.

really? no-one interested in a nice policy document?

Given recent threads/arguments about cycle lanes etc thought this might be of interest… which is all by way saying – bump?
