Anyone ever had one of their sesamoid’s removed? I can’t find a single person who has had a really positive experience…

It’s incredible that such a small bone and common injury can cause such havoc. I pretty much am going to have to reconsider my career at the moment. It’s almost a permanent disability.

Caused by a dodgy cleat placement… about 14 months on and it hasn’t and won’t seem to heal. Pain getting worse, and now carrying weight on my back or anything like that has become an ordeal. I’m a news cameraman, and we often double as gear donkeys.
