Are headtubes on modern bikes all reamed to a standard depth ? Just need to order a semi integrated headset (the type with the bearings that are inside the headtube, but are housed in flush fitting cups) and know the correct spec to order diameter etc wise (44mm) but not the cup depth. Obviously this cup depth cant be greater than the reaming depth or else it aint gonna fit ! Is the reaming depth sufficient for pretty much any brand or make of headset of this type ?
