Any thoughts, never heard of them personally. 1700g sounds a bit weighty for a 20 spoke wheel that should apparently be £800.

Much up an upgrade over Aksiums?

    These ones just here

ditto, sound good for that price (as if they really were £800..) but can’t find any reviews. A few places selling last model Ultegras for similar which might be a safer bet, or some nice handbuilt Harry Rowland wheels. Would like to know more though on these as well

The Selcof brand has been around for ages (don’t know if they are still going though), mainly known for seatposts (think low to mid range). For the wheels, don’t look too bad, but they were never a £800 set, they look closer to a Fulcrum 7 than anything else, probably equal to or a downgrade from Aksiums.

no mention of the freehub being 11 speed compatible, if not, they wheels won’t be any good when you go 11 speed.

The hubs look at bit like planet-x’s other hubs. The wheels look a bit like their other wheels aswell. Could just be them with a different sticker on. I dunno. If you can get Ultegras for £200 then that’s the ones to go for.

    But they have carbon….

…on top of aluminium. What does that do, except add weight and make it look a bit flash?

Have also been toying with these. Any pointers to the old ultegra for similar money would be appreciated.

If you buy today the Ultegra’s are £180 from Ribble.
