    having serious trouble getting a seatpost at 27.0 so does anyone know if i could get away with a 26.8mm.

    No, you'll probably crack the frame at the keyhole slot.
    Thomson probably do a 27.0mm post.

    No you won't. bbb do their skyscraper seatpin in all sizes about 19 quid
