Before I fell and broke my hand I sent my bike off for seatpost repair at NW MTB as it had stopped working, it now works perfectly, but I want it about an inch higher. When I adust it higher it goes down every time i sit on the seat?

Sounds like there will be a simple solution?

By the way its a KS Lev Integra

the inner cable connected to the post is not moving when you raise the post – it’s just pulling the lever to release the seat.

Try feeding some more outer into the seat/downtube to leave a little slack.

Ah, that makes a lot of sense. I shall report back.

This worked for the seatpost dropping, but now it only gioes halfway up and doesn’t work smoothly?

I’d take it back to NW MTB if it’s not fully functional

I’d makes sure the cable is free. Still sounds to me like something’s limiting the movement of the inner cable and affecting the post. Levs are quite sensitive to cable tension, ime
