  • Sealing/Covering a stealth dropper hole?

My new frame has a stealth dropper entry point at the base of the seat tube. It’s got me thinking that I’ve been through water wading/riding that would be above that height and I don’t wish to fill the frame with water. So any ideas? I’m wondering if I can get a decent seal over it with helicopter tape, but it’s got a chunky weld around it. 😕

Blob of silicone gently pushed in, could be pushed out again when needed

Leave it open and create another hole lower down for it to drain out of.

The silicone sounds a better option as I’m not drilling a 2k frame! Is the silicone a bathroom sealant or something?

Clear stuff won’t look as obvious, GE stuff seems to work well, stinks of vinegar though! It’ll make you want some chips

I’ve used bathroom silicone for this on my newest frame, it’s been fine for 4 months or so now.
