well I spent a couple of hours there today. pretty good for a first event I thought, and speaking with a lot of the exhibitors it sounded like they had a very busy first half of the day. Here's hoping tomorrow goes as well.
A wee bit pricey on entry though, and £6 to park is a joke, but it's standard SECC charging so nowt to do with Bike ShowPosted 1 year ago # -
£6 to park! Bit spicy that. Luckily my car already looks like it's been stolen and abandoned so I guess i'll discard it somewhere and walk in

Nope. Better things to do.

That was pretty rubbish really. Big disappointment, pretty much a waste of £18. Still might be better next year.
£6 to park. I just parked on the other side of the river and walked over the bridge.

I thought it wasn't too bad.
It was the first attempt and a good starter. Hopefully the success they've had ( well it looked busy enough to me ) can be built on in years to come and larger outfits will show intrest and support. Would have been nice to see some manufacturers there showing their wares.
The BMX guys were a bit loud and the MC completely inaudible. Maybe that's just me getting old?!
I tried one of the electrically assisted bikes there today. Quite good actually, certainly see how they'd be good for a commute.
