We got up to the shortcut on Minch Moor yesterday. No tyre or footprint tracks beyond that point and was looking pretty deep. Was a right good larf. Short cut brings you out to about a foot or so of snow, plenty falling off, after that it was a fantastic, lots of snow but you could still rattle along a fair old rate.

Looking for another Carron Valley update – anybody been up in the last few days? Am hoping it's cleared, but wonder if the patchy snow over the last couple of days has made any difference.
Don't mind a little snow, but might be taking a trail centre newbie and don't want to put them off with an icefest…

Was up CV on Sunday (along with what seemed like half of the central belt) and it was fine. A bit of ice on the fire roads, and a few frozen puddles on Eas Dubh, but nothing major. However, after the light snow yesterday morning and the hard freeze last night, it might be a bit trickier.

Blairadam today is very rideable. Frozen solid singletrack, very grippy. Forestry roads very slippy in places due to the ongoing timber haulage.
