Well was thinking of a couple of nights at a camp site near Fort bill, from there I'd have a chance at either a natural ride, laggan or the Red at Nevis range.

There are more big, natural rides around Aviemore, and its only about 20 mins to Laggan from there, or you could drive to FW for the day. I reckon Aviemore is a nicer place, and as you are going in June, somewhat less likely to be midge infested

park up at kinlochhourn and cycle over the pass to inverie in knoydart…its about 16 miles there.stay in the excellent b&b next to the forge then bike back over….best place in scotland ive been to.love knoydart!

I'd question just how much actual riding time you'd get on that route. Not much I reckon. Knoydart is a fantastic place, but not convinced it's great for mountain biking.

the trails aroung strathpeffer are well worth a ride, join the Squarewheels thursday night shop ride…. we're not far from golspie.
