Such was my excitement, I missed the “Keep it clean.”

Well they shouldn’t be in the fridge in the shop if they’re fresh. Can be eaten cold but best lightly toasted. You don’t want hockey pucks.

Assume we’re talking about drop scones, in which case bin ’em. only eat griddle fresh and warm.

    6oz SR Flour
    4oz Caster Sugar
    10floz milk
    2 eggs
    1 heaped tblsp Baking Powder.

    Beat together until JUST smooth

Melt salted butter in pan on low heat
use tablespoon measure to put mix into pan to form individual pancakes
wait until upper surface is nicely bubbly and underside a golden brown
    turn over using wide spatula
30-40 secs or until golden brown
eat – no topping required as the lovely salted butter is enough

Also yummy layered with crispy grilled bacon and a ridiculous amount of proper Maple syrup…..
