OK, bought a 29er frame from the classifieds,waited for all the bits to arrive….set the tunes,workstand and beers up yesterday…only to find on-one had sent the wrong mech hanger…The one they sent out does not fit my vertical drop out frame, nor is the mech hanger I have been sent the same shape as this one from the spare parts bit of the site.

That one pictured is the same as the one I had in my old one (incidentally, if you think it’s the one you need, Halfords use the same model for all the Carreras and they’re £7.50)
