    OK not strictly hotpot but

    1. brown 8 sausages + remove
    2. add 2 med onions sliced til colouring
    3. add small bit of diced chorizo til leaking (or str bacon)
    4. add 2 cups of green lentils and mix in
    5. add tin tomatoes liquidised
    6. put sausages back in plus bay leaves if you have
    7. simmer for 40 min adding water but not too much

Sausages, whole small portobello mushrooms, pint or so of zider, sliced apples, sliced potatoes, some belly pork pieces to lubricate. 2 or 3 caramelised chopped onions to start with. Slow cook. Serve with mash if you dont put spuds in the casserole.

No bollocks to that, do this

    1. Skin the sausages. Fry all mushed up til they start getting brown and very broken up, lowish heat 15 mins
    2. add chopped onion, fry till done, 15 mins
    3. add chopped rosemary, garlic, dried chile, fry couple of mins
    4. add tin tomatoes, fry 15 mins
    5. add double cream, bring to boil remove from heat and add parmesan
    6. serve with pasta

    or

just cook and serve with eggs and chips

well I ran out of time (also had to go for corner shop "sausages" as I was too late back from work).

    Currently cooking

    12 (small ish) sausages
    2 rashers smoked bacon
    onion, garlic
    2 tins chopped tomatoes
    reggae reggae sauce
    fresh basil
    2 carrots
    mushrooms

    anything else?

    had it with rice.

I would have put win in (in fact it was my first idea) but I'm not going to get the rest drunk!

Cheers, it turned out ok in the end. 7/10 for the sauce, added some chorizo, which was a fantastic addition but it was ruined by the nasty sausages.

A bit late for tonight's supper but "Quick chilli with creamy chive crushed potatoes" is a nice one.
