Sash Window restoration (Bristol)

Can anyone in or around Bristol recommend any companies that renovate sash windows?

I have just bought an old property and all of the Windows are in a very sad state, so before working through the yellow pages and ringing up for quotes I thought I would try on here first for recommendations.

Or call a few local joiners - most are used to dealing with sash windows (especially being based in somewhere like Bristol which will, I can imagine, have lots of properties with them.

I have ventrolla coming to quote, but was after a few alternatives. I will try some joiners now
