I’m looking for a way of carrying a fifth bike on my car – already got 4 on the roof.

I think a rear mounted carrier is the only option, so want something to carry a lightweight road bike which can ideally hold it high enough to leave the lights & number plate unobscured

The Saris Solo might fit the bill, but wondered if anyone has any real world experience of it? Specifically does it allow for the bike to be carried relatively high and how quick & easy does it attach?

(any other ideas for getting 5 bikes onto an E-class estate also welcome!)
