    Question from a mate.

Typically I have historically gone on the basis of trust and 'feel', but given no (supposed) protection in terms of purchasing via ebay, using paypal or indeed handing over cash when goods are exchanged, what do you folks normally find works? Any other ways which protect both buyer and seller?

Concerns on both sides obviously – monies gone and no goods, goods gone and no monies.

there is no real 'safe' way for remote paying people – Paypal is possibly best as long as you don't send payment as a gift.

    Cash on collection.

I bought a full bike like that, and sold one the same.

If that's not possible, you need to trust the person, and/or check out their posting history on the forums. Do many people know them, for instance?

In my case, far too many people know me and where I live for me to stitch someone up (Not that I would) 🙂
